Mrs. Wempner’s  seventh and eighth grade language arts students recently competed in a VFW sponsored essay contest.  This year’s theme was “America’s Gift to My Generation.”  All students did a great job, and four winners were chosen to move onto the next level of competition.  This year’s winners include seventh graders Brian Hernandez-Archundia and Cohen Wiste and eighth graders Rachel Heller and Kylie Stafford.  Congratulations!
