Before coming to Southland, Tressie worked as an elementary building substitute in Austin Public Schools for two years. Tressie has a bachelor's degree in archaeology from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and will graduate in the spring of 2025 with a master's degree in elementary teaching from Mankato State.
