Southland School District, Safe Learning Plan updated 6/4/2021 : Link to File

The Southland School District is seeking public comment on their updated “Safe Learning Plan.” Feedback from students, parents, school staff, and community members will be taken into account as the plan is updated for the 2021-2022 school year.

Amalie NiethammerAmalie Niethammer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from St. Olaf College and a Master of Arts in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas.  She has taught elementary music and beginning band for St. Paul Public Schools, 7th and 8th grade band at Houston High School, Music Appreciation and Audio Engineering for Minnesota Virtual Academy High School, and began teaching at Southland in 2011.  She currently teaches 5-12 band and 7th and 8th grade general music.  Mrs. Niethammer lives in Austin with her husband, two kids, and golden retriever.
