Katie Thome was named as a Regional Assistant officer this past month after applying and interview for a position. Katie has been active in the Southland FFA chapter as a BIG and general livestock member.  She is currently the Southland chapter's sentinel and had the desire to serve at the regional level.  After applying and going through a intense interview process she was slated in as an assistant officer for the region of 32 schools. Katie will have over 20 meetings to attend this next year along with planning a Fall leadership day, Greenhand camp, regional awards night and a regional lock in event.
