Sam Klaehn

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, I am a 2013 Southland graduate. I am happy to be back in the community that promoted my love for education and teaching. I attended Minnesota State University Mankato and earned my bachelor’s in Special Education with an Academic and Behavioral Strategist license. For two years I taught Middle School Special Education here at Southland before moving into my new role as Dean of Students. I have also driven school bus for 6 years and coached Junior High Basketball the last two years.

As Dean I will also take over the Guidance Counselor and Testing Coordinator duties, if you have any questions concerning credits, college applications, or testing please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to meet with you to go over this with you.
