School Social Worker

Welcome to the Southland School Social Worker website! Here's a little bit of information about me: My name is Deanne Bauserman and I've been at Southland since 2008. I received my BSW from Mankato State and my MSW in Clinical Social Work from St. Catherines. I'm married, live in Osage, IA and have three daughters. My goal is to help the students of Southland to deal with issues that get in the way of their academic success. These issues vary, but may include friendship issues, worrying, anger issues, attention problems, dis-organization, depression, problem solving issues, difficulties at home (including separation of parents), etc. I meet with students individually and in groups to help them develop problem-solving skills.
